How consciousness created the Internet
On October 29th 1969 for the first time in history, two computers began to communicate through a router over a network. That single event spawned the evolution of a global network of information exchange. But what is the true underlying purpose of this information exchange in the grand scheme of life? Why would we want to communicate information across the globe to millions of other people? The answer is experience! The underlying driving force for all life on this planet and in the Universe is the preservation and evolution of information. We could call it our purpose, even if we don't quite understand it just yet. This Universe is made up of tiny packets of information similar to what we find on the Internet. Only in this case, the Universal information is preserved to further the evolution of the metaverse from which our Universe sprang into existence.
Humans are the first species of life that we know of, that have the ability to replicate the Universal information exchange. We do so because of our deep desire for experience. All humans understand the finite nature of their existence here on Earth. We can then come to the conclusion that our purpose is to acquire as much information as possible while we are here. It is this purpose that has driven us to expand our creative ability to allow us to connect with each other over vast distances.
On a deeper level, the Internet is a manifestation of our true interconnectedness. Quantum Physics now tells us that we are all connected at a metaverse type level. The Quantum field or metaverse, could be thought of as the singular consciousness which preserves the important information about the Universe and all life in it.
In reality, we make the mistake of calling it the "Internet" because really it's more of an "Outernet". It is our attempt to replicate the true interconnected nature of our being. You do not have to look very far to see that the average human life is filled with intelligence and insanity at the same time. The Internet is a direct reflection of both of these conditions. But setting those aside, it is still new information to us and good or bad we will still seek it out because it is our nature to do so.
When you make the correlation between consciousness and the Internet, there is no denying that we are all connected on a very deep level. However, our desire to gather more and more information on faster time scales has caused us to loose our ability to look inward to find the connection. Instead, we have created an Outernet of consciousness to satisfy this desire. Although, we can argue that the Internet is also a manifestation of the Universe as well, but are we taking it a step further than we need to?
Could we in fact begin to look inside ourselves to find the important answers about our lives and weed out the insanity? The Internet has a place in human evolution, it is allowing us to see through our own eyes that we are all connected. The only question now is, Can we understand that the Internet is only a reflection of our true desire to be connected as beings, not through a computer, but through the mind?
